St. Pius X / St. Leo School

St. Pius X / St. Leo School

is a Catholic elementary school providing Catholic education for the children of parishioners in both St. Pius X and St. Leo Parishes and members of other parishes as well as non-Catholics who wish to attend. We presently have 756 students in pre-school through eighth grade. Our Catholic elementary school is a community formed by parents, students, teachers and staff, fellow parishioners, pastors and administrators, alumni and friends whose aim is to develop and emphasize the four purposes of the Catholic educational ministry:

** the message revealed by God

** the formation of community

** the worship of God

** and service to the communities of family, Church,

neighborhood, nation, and world.

Our school stresses Catholic educational excellence for all students. Our efforts are directed toward the following:

** Our AIM is to strengthen each student's faith life and value system to enable them to             participate responsibly in society while reflecting Catholic principles of peace and justice.

** Our HOPE is that all students will choose to act upon these principles to assure peace and justice for all people throughout the world.

** Our PRAYER is that all students will be motivated to center their lives in Jesus as committed Christian members of society.

We are blessed with very dedicated and committed faculty and staff members.  Our school liturgies have the students involved in great celebrations. Our wonderful technology center and portable technology lab (for grades 6-8) was made possible by the donations of parishioners and other school friends. We have a widely used Extended Care Program that serves students before and after school. We recently added an awesome preschool for 3 year olds, a pre-kindergarten for 4 year olds, and a wonderful full day kindergarten for 5 year olds.  All of these programs have new state of the art classrooms for learning!  We have great parental involvement and students who are willing to work hard to achieve their goals.
